Polyferric sulfate is a kind of inorganic polymer coagulant, which is mostly used for purification of drinking water, industrial water, industrial wastewater and urban sewage. Ferric sulfate is prepared by adding sulfuric acid to ferric hydroxide, or by the reaction of rust and dilute sulfuric acid. It is commonly used in silver analysis, sugar determination, as fuel, ink, disinfection, catalysis, etc., and can be used as fertilizer and weed insecticide in agriculture.

 

The essential difference between PFS and FeSO4 results in a huge difference in their use. The price of a ton of PFS is about 1500 yuan, while that of FeSO4 is about 400 yuan. The two kinds of goods must not be confused.
