When polyaluminum chloride is used in sewage treatment plant, if it is used to treat turbid sewage which can not settle naturally or which settles very slowly and has certain acidity, we usually use calcium hydroxide to adjust the pH value of sewage before using polyaluminum chloride, and then choose to add polyaluminum chloride according to the situation of sewage, Through the coagulation of polyaluminum chloride to achieve the effect of flocculation sedimentation, but if the speed of flocculation sedimentation is not fast enough, generally choose to add appropriate polyacrylamide, through the joint action of polyaluminum chloride and polyacrylamide, so as to achieve better water purification effect.

 

Polyaluminum chloride is non-toxic. In use, after dissolving the solid polyaluminum chloride, dilute it with water to the appropriate concentration, and then add a large amount of it. The better method is to use it after small-scale test.
