Liquid PFS is a kind of water treatment agent with excellent performance, but long-distance transportation is inevitable when purchasing liquid PFS. In this process, a situation often occurs, that is, when the liquid polyferric sulfate is unloaded after a long time of transportation, yellow smoke will appear. What are these yellow smoke?

The production of liquid polymerized ferric sulfate is produced by mixing dilute sulfuric acid and ferrous sulfate and then catalyzing by sodium nitrite. After liquid polymerized ferric sulfate is produced, sodium nitrite will disappear. In the subsequent transportation of liquid polymerized ferric sulfate, the tanker can only be used, and the tanker may often transport some other chemicals. Once there are other chemical components, such as ferrous sulfate, mixed with liquid polymerized ferric sulfate, it will react and produce nitric oxide or nitrogen dioxide gas, forming yellow smoke in the air. That's why the yellow smoke appears. However, the smoke will not affect the use effect of liquid PFS.

Therefore, when transporting liquid PFS, it is necessary to clean the inside of the tanker to avoid the impact of other chemicals on PFS.
